- Your classic candle should last approximately 30 hours plus with proper care. Like most natural wax blends, polymorphism can appear during or after cooling and between burns, but this is normal.
- For optimal performance, and to prevent tunnelling (excessive wax around the glass), please burn for 2-4 hours at a time and do not extinguish until the melted wax has reached the sides of the glass. Burning your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time can cause wick migration.
- It’s time to reorder a new candle once the wax is under 10mm.
- Always keep your wicks trimmed to 5mm (once the wax has cooled) and be sure to remove excess debris such as wick trimmings and matches.
- Never leave your candle unattended and always burn on an even surface, away from draughty areas and out of reach from pets, children and neighbouring flammable home decor. Keep candles away from direct sunlight in order to preserve the scent. Avoid getting water into the candle as this can damage its performance.

All essential oils used are natural and pure but this does not mean that they can be ingested or applied topically to everything. Scented candles of any kind tend to have adverse effects on aquatic life and some birds. Cats and dogs do not react well to oils when applied topically and you should check to see whether they can be effected by inhaling scented air. Please be mindful of this when handling candles and essential oils as we cannot accept any responsibility for any harm caused to your pets or loved ones. We encourage you to wash your hands after handling our products to minimise the risk of transference.
